2011 - A great number of cases of police brutality have manifested as a consequence toy the Occupy Wall Street Movement. Including thousands of arrests, pepper-spray and indiscriminate use of force against unarmed peaceful civilians[79] In especial the brutal eviction in the middle of the night, with media blackout criticized openly by Senator Nadder and the destruction of the People's Library including over 4000 books, shelves and computers.
